Publication Ethics
These guidelines aim to provide authors, editors, and reviewers with proper guidance to publish articles using best practices and codes of conduct.
For Authors:
Authorship
The submitting author must include all authors who contributed significantly in the scientific content of the manuscript in the right order. Other researchers who have minor contribution can be added to the acknowledgement section in the manuscript. Also, all contributing authors must be aware of and approve submitting the manuscript to specific journal.
Plagiarism
Submitted manuscripts must add novel contribution to the scholarly content. Authors should avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism by making sure that they have cited their own work and others’ work appropriately.
Duplicate Submission
A manuscript should be submitted only one time to a certain journal. If the authors decided to submit to another journal, they should withdraw the first submission.
Duplicate/Redundant Publication
A manuscript should be original, contain novel contribution, and add value to the scholarly content, not to be published elsewhere. Authors must avoid reproducing the same content from their previous publications.
Data Fabrication
Authors should avoid making up of research findings.
Data Falsification
Manuscripts should not contain manipulated research data intending to give a false impression by removing data, omitting materials, changing results.
Citation Manipulation
Only the used work of the authors or others should be cited in the reference list. Authors should avoid citing work of others only to increase the number of citations of a particular author’s work or a certain journal.
For Editors and Reviewers:
Editorial Decisions
Editors and Reviewers are responsible for taking decisions of accepting or rejecting manuscripts. These decisions should be taken based on the evaluation to the scientific content and without any bias to race, gender, origin, religious belief, sexual orientation, political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality
All the information about a submitted manuscript should remain confidential and not to be revealed and communicated to anyone except the author's, potential reviewers, journal’s Editor-in-Chief, and the publisher.
Citations
Editors and Reviewers should not force authors to cite any of their work unless this work is really used by the authors in their manuscript.
If a manuscript gets published, and we get assured that there is any misconduct- by investigating with the Editor and authors- after publication, we will be committed to publish a retraction note to maintain the integrity of the scholarly literature. We will also report the matter to the authors’ institution and we will have the right not to consider any manuscripts from these authors for possible publication in our journals.
