Financial Performance of Selected Nationalized Commercial Banks
Abstract:
The success and survival of the bank industry rest on the adoption of appropriate management strategy to maintain its service level up to the expectation of customers needs. It is observed that there are no adequate, comprehensive and intensive studies touching upon the various aspects of the bank industry especially related with sustainable banking practices. The present study adopted descriptive research design. The primary data have been collected using a structured questionnaire and secondary data included published annual reports of nationalized banks submitted to RBI and financial statements i.e., profit and loss account and balance-sheets.
