Load Frequency Control in Deregulated Power System

Abstract:

Load frequency control (LFC) is an important issue in power system operation and control. This chapter focuses on the view of restructuring the power system. The entities of the same were studied and the types of the same were discussed. The transactions made between Genco and Disco Participation Matrix (DPM) shows Disco in deregulated power system. The modeling of thermal power plant is dealt in detail.
