Information security has become tremendously important because this is the world ruled by technology. Cryptography is the secure way of transmitting information in unintelligible form but the decryption process is complex and it requires additional computational cost. This problem can be solved by using visual cryptographic technique. In this paper Color Error Diffusion is used to produce halftone image .This method produce better decrypted image compared to other half toning methods and reduces computational complexity.
