3D Bioprinting Potential for Human Healthcare & Personalized Medicines

Dr. Harikrishnan Ramasamy

Abstract:

3D engineering is an innovative novel technique to create artificial living tissues, organs, cells, growth factors, and cellular matrix by 3D printer; it is of immense use in biomedical research in translation of infected and damaged human parts, drug discovery, pills, toxicology, etc. and as an additional powerful tool in manufacture. The humans suffer from a number of serious diseases which result in failure of organs and tissues, loss or blocking of cell development, serious accidental loss of organs or tissues. This review describes the current status in the development of 3D bioprinting organs, tissues, cells, current status, suitable bioinks, different biological applications, and its merits and demerits.
