Women & Leadership: Leading under Extreme Diversity

Abstract:
The responsibility of women towards growth is almost related to the task of extremely rise in socio-economics. The term women empowerment is providing legal powers or authorization to carry out the challenging tasks. Empowerment is the process of re-distributing the power that faces male dominance and its ideology. It is viewed as a method to examine the position of women in India with the help of various circumstances like the power of decision making in womens household, autonomy of finance, freedom of movement, participation in the politics, acceptance of unequal gender role, exposure towards media, education rights, violence in domestics which were the data gathered from various sources. In order to attain a good status in a well-developed country like India, the country need to reform the women force into an efficient strong source of human and this can be achieved through the women empowerment. In the past few decades, a variety of constitutional and legal rights have been enforced by the Indian Government so as to remove all the unethical practices and discrimination in gender against women. India can develop into a strong great nation, if it takes the responsibility of empowering the women. Since India can become a great nation only if it accurately empowers its women. This study initiates whether if women were allowed and would they be able to take part in the process of development and decision making process towards improvement of programmes and activities independently.
