Impact of High Performance Human Resource Practices on Employees Job Performance in Leather Goods Manufacturing Companies at Vellore District

Abstract:
This study aims at exploring the impact of high performance HR practices on employees job performance. The study sought to establish the effect of job design, training and development, motivation, supervisory support, working environment and compensation on employees job performance in Leather goods manufacturing companies at Vellore district. The research design used was descriptive survey research design. Stratified proportionate random sampling was used. Data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis, chi-square site de marque pas cher contrefacon and Friedman test was done to establish the relationship between various HRM practices and employees job performance. Data was presented in the form of tables. Based on the findings, job design, supervisory support and work environment are having a positive and significant relationship with employees job performance and training and development, motivation and compensation are not having a significant relationship with employees job performance. Conclusions as well as implications are discussed.
