Abstract:

Barrister Groupware is an all-in-one, easy to use solution that is being designed specifically for law firms. Whether we?re reviewing a company?s balance sheet, negotiating terms and conditions with the client or drafting a contract, Barrister Groupware will better organize the case and contact details, automate the documents and keep us on top of all our cases and deadlines. Support Vector Machine (SVM), a machine learning technique is employed in the application, which facilitates better understanding of user search pattern, thereby exponentially improving the normal search mechanism achieved through indexing. As the parameters in SVM are not predefined, real time data enables the application to better understand the judgment pattern, and thereby forecast all possible judgments that the on-going case may have.
