An Improving Security of Embedding Data in Sudokus Solutions Using Data Hiding Techniques

A. Jagadeesan and T.S. Krishna Priya

Abstract:

Sudoku's solutions can be used to embed image in other images is one of our proposed idea. Chin-Chen Chang et.al proposes a novel information hiding method using Sudoku to significantly improve the security of secret data delivery with the reversibility. The reversibility is an important function for some sensitive applications such as medical and military imaging systems. Their scheme is secure because a secret message can be shared into two stego images. Thus, an unauthorized user with one stego image cannot extract the embedded secret message and recover the original cover image. In addition, the number of 9 x9 Sudoku solutions is very huge so they can be used for different times of secret message delivery. To improving the security of content we use RSA encryption techniques for embedding data. In the proposed algorithm, RSA is used not to encrypt the secret message but to find the exact Byte location of the carrier file, in Sudoku's solutions of which a particular bit of the secret message is to be embedded.
