Artificial Guidance System for Visually Impaired People

Abstract:
A cheap guidance system based on AT89S52 microcontroller is developed to facilitate Visually Impaired people. Obstacles in the moving path are detected using Ultrasonic sensor array fitted at the front of the walking stick. The triggers from the sensors are coupled to the Earphone borse imitazioni and necessary voice commands are given to guide the user towards the available path. User control is provided to adjust the range of detection, according to the environment.
